Twist mechanic
Happy Sunday, with a simple save system finished, this week I've been implementing the "twist" puzzle rule area. Twist tiles differ from knot tiles as the line does not cross over itself on a twist tile. I've got 12 "Twist" puzzles and plan to add a few more for the prototype. I've really enjoyed the interesting emerging patterns that happen with a puzzle solve. I should have another prototype build to privately share with friends soon. If you interested it checking out the early build please get in touch. Once the new build is out, it will be time to implement the "freestyle" puzzle areas. I think these next areas will be the most interesting.
In other news, with the save system, there is now a simple "hub" area and a menu. It's starting to feel more like a complete game and less like a prototype.
Be sure to follow the project on twitter, itch or subscribe to the mailing list to be notified of updates.
