Itch.io page is up
Well, I was not expecting people asking where they can follow the game quite so quickly, but they did. So I put together this Itch.io page to act as a hub for information about the game. Expect regular devlog about Trifoil here. I also post about Trifoil at least once a week on twitter: https://twitter.com/andii1701
In terms of development progress, the prototype has 18 puzzle with the single "cross" mechanic. I've gotten good feedback about the puzzles and a few bug reports from the small player group. It's was also good to hear the players we're "getting" the emergent rules that naturally appear in each puzzle. I'm enjoying crafting the puzzles, even with the single mechanic plenty of interesting variations are emerging. I'm going to add 2 more puzzle to the "knots" section of the game then move on to developing a new mechanic.
